SLB N.V.
SLB N.V., which may also be used abroad as SLB Limited and SLB Ltd., is a naamloze vennootschap (N.V.) incorporated under the law of Curaçao. It is recorded in the Handelsregister (trade register) of the Kamer van Koophandel & Nijverheid Curaçao (Chamber of Commerce and Industry Curaçao) under register number 1674, and holds Legal Entity Identifier 213800ZUA17OK3QLGM62, which GLEIF shows as issued and the entity as Active (GLEIF golden copy of 30 September 2026). Its registered address is Johan van Walbeeckplein 11, Willemstad, Curaçao. The company is not incorporated in the United States. This Zavia record carries the country code US, cites the Texas Secretary of State (SOSDirect) as its source and stores neither a registration number nor an incorporation date; the cover page of the company’s own Form 10-K and the GLEIF record both state Curaçao as the state or other jurisdiction of incorporation. Houston, Texas is one of four addresses of principal executive offices given on the company’s SEC filings (the others being Paris, The Hague and, on filings from 2025, London), and any Texas filing for this entity would be a qualification to transact business in that state rather than a charter. Under Curaçao law the correct legal form is the naamloze vennootschap; it is not a US corporation, LLC or UK-style limited company, and it should not be described with those labels.
The company was named Schlumberger N.V. (Schlumberger Limited) until 7 October 2025. At a special general meeting held that day, shareholders approved an amendment to the Articles of Incorporation changing the name to SLB N.V. and permitting the use of SLB Limited and SLB Ltd. abroad; the amendment was executed before the civil notary of Curaçao and became effective on 7 October 2025. Amended and restated By-Laws reflecting the new name were adopted by the Board on 10 October 2025. The SEC company record for CIK 0000087347 now carries the conformed name SLB LIMITED/NV and lists SCHLUMBERGER LIMITED/NV among its former names, while GLEIF recorded the legal-name change with an effective date of 9 December 2025, so third-party datasets carry the change at several different dates and a record still showing Schlumberger is out of date rather than a different company. The 10-K states that the business was founded in 1926 and that the brand name changed to SLB in 2022, while GLEIF records an entity creation date in November 1956 for the Curaçao company itself.
SLB N.V. is the listed parent of a global energy technology group supplying services, equipment, chemistry and software to national oil companies, integrated oil companies and independent operators. For the year ended 31 December 2025 the group reported under five segments: Digital, Reservoir Performance, Well Construction, Production Systems and All Other (Asset Performance Solutions, Data Center Solutions and SLB Capturi); the Digital business was reported separately from the third quarter of 2025. Its common stock, par value USD 0.01, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SLB (Commission file number 1-4601).
Consolidated figures for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, as reported in the Form 10-K filed on 23 January 2026: revenue of USD 35,708 million (2024: USD 36,289 million), pretax segment income of USD 4,291 million, net income attributable to SLB of USD 3,374 million, total assets of USD 54,868 million and backlog of USD 5.6 billion. Revenue by area was North America USD 7,515 million, Latin America USD 6,152 million, Europe and Africa (including Russia and the Caspian region) USD 9,572 million and Middle East and Asia USD 12,218 million; revenue in the United States was USD 6.3 billion. The 10-K states that SLB had no revenue from third-party customers in its country of domicile in any of the last three years. The group reported a workforce of approximately 109,000 people and operations in more than 100 countries, and no single customer exceeded 10% of consolidated revenue in 2025, 2024 or 2023. These are consolidated group figures, not figures for the Curaçao parent on a stand-alone basis.
The company makes its own disclosures about operations in jurisdictions subject to sanctions regimes, reproduced here without comment. In the risk factors of the Form 10-K for 2025 it states that in March 2022 it suspended new investment and technology deployment to its Russia operations, and that in July 2023 it announced it was halting shipments of products into Russia from all its facilities worldwide in response to the continued expansion of international sanctions; it reports that Russia represented approximately 4% of worldwide revenue during 2025 and that the carrying value of its net assets in Russia was approximately USD 0.7 billion at 31 December 2025. Under Item 9B of the same report, made pursuant to Section 219 of the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012 and Section 13(r) of the Exchange Act, it states that it wound down its service operations in Iran in 2013, that its residual dealings with the government of Iran during 2025 consisted of payments of taxes and other typical governmental charges, and that certain non-US subsidiaries maintain depository accounts at Bank Saderat Iran and Bank Tejarat for amounts owed by the National Iranian Oil Company for prior services, which it anticipates discontinuing once those amounts are received. A corresponding notice was filed with the SEC on 26 January 2026, with further notices on 7 May 2026 and 29 July 2026. Note 15 of the 2025 accounts states that management believes the probability of a material loss from any currently pending legal proceeding is remote.

Shareholders

Shareholders of SLB N.V.
SLB N.V. is a widely held company whose common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SLB. There is no disclosed controlling shareholder. What is publicly available is therefore major shareholders only: holders of more than 5% of the common stock, as they report themselves on Schedules 13G and 13D, plus the aggregate holding of directors and executive officers.
The definitive proxy statement filed on 26 February 2026 lists three beneficial owners of more than 5% of SLB common stock, in each case based solely on that holder’s most recent Schedule 13G filing, and in each case as a percentage of the 1,502,561,554 shares outstanding on 31 January 2026: The Vanguard Group, 185,363,911 shares or 12.3%, based on a Schedule 13G/A filed 30 October 2025; BlackRock, Inc., 108,344,912 shares or 7.2%, based on a Schedule 13G/A filed 6 February 2024; and State Street Corporation, 84,804,647 shares or 5.6%, based on a Schedule 13G/A filed 30 January 2024. Two of those three underlying filings are therefore more than two years old at the proxy date, and the percentages are the company’s recalculation of older share counts against a 2026 denominator. All three holders are asset managers holding on behalf of funds and clients; the positions reported are beneficial ownership for Section 13(d) purposes, not a register of members. Only Schedule 13G filings, which are used by passive holders, appear among the recent ownership filings reviewed; no Schedule 13D was found.
The shareholder table stored on this record is a provider data set, not a shareholder register, and should not be read as ownership. It holds 31 rows of which only 5 are retained here, all bearing a verification date of 4 September 2026. The rows are individual fund vehicles and asset-management firms rather than the reporting groups that actually cross the 5% threshold: none of Vanguard Group, BlackRock or State Street appears among the retained rows, while First Eagle Investment Management, LLC and First Eagle Funds-First Eagle Global Fund are listed as two separate rows although the fund sits inside the manager’s reported position. The percentages are also computed against a denominator of roughly 1.532 billion shares, implied by dividing each row’s share count by its own percentage; SLB itself reported 1,484,143,231 shares of common stock outstanding on the cover of its Form 10-Q filed 29 July 2026, so the stored percentages understate each holding by about 3%. The snapshot is internally inconsistent as well: one row is priced at USD 37.10 per share and the rest at USD 34.97, under a single verification date. Treat the stored figures as an unaudited third-party sample and use the proxy table and the Schedules 13G above instead.
Ultimate beneficial ownership
No ultimate beneficial owner of SLB N.V. could be established from authoritative sources, and none is asserted here. No natural person is identified as a beneficial owner in the 2026 proxy statement or in any Schedule 13D or 13G reviewed, and the three disclosed holders above 5% are institutional asset managers acting for underlying funds and clients, which does not by itself identify a natural person. The largest disclosed holding, 12.3%, is in any event below the 25% threshold commonly applied in beneficial-ownership regimes. Absence of an identified UBO is a limitation of the available disclosure and is not evidence that the company has no beneficial owners.
Data availability
Major shareholders only. Curaçao, the jurisdiction of incorporation, does not publish a freely searchable shareholder or beneficial-ownership register, and the Curaçao trade register is not openly available online, so the usable disclosure for SLB N.V. comes from US securities filings: the annual proxy statement’s 5% table and self-filed Schedules 13G and 13D. Those sources cover only reportable holders at their own filing dates and do not describe the full shareholder base, share classes beyond the single class of common stock, or any nominee arrangements.

Officers

Directors and officers of SLB N.V.
SLB N.V. has a single board of nine directors, all of whom were elected at the Annual General Meeting held on 8 April 2026, as reported in the Form 8-K filed that day under Item 5.07: Peter Coleman, Patrick de La Chevardière, Miguel Galuccio, Jim Hackett, Olivier Le Peuch, Samuel Leupold, Maria Moræus Hanssen, Vanitha Narayanan and Jeff Sheets. Olivier Le Peuch is the only executive director; he has been Chief Executive Officer and a director since August 2019. Under Curaçao company law the board is the governing body of the naamloze vennootschap, and directors of this company stand for re-election at each annual general meeting.
Separately from the board, the Form 10-K filed on 23 January 2026 lists the executive officers as of that date. The Section 16 officers are Olivier Le Peuch (Chief Executive Officer, since August 2019), Stephane Biguet (Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, since January 2020), Abdellah Merad (Executive Vice President, Core Services and Equipment, since April 2022), Demosthenis Pafitis (Chief Technology Officer, since February 2020), Dianne Ralston (Chief Legal Officer since December 2020 and Secretary since April 2021), Steve Gassen (Executive Vice President of Geographies, since May 2025), Agnieszka Kmieciak (Chief People Officer, since August 2025) and Howard Guild (Chief Accounting Officer, since July 2005). The same table names seven further corporate officers, including the presidents of the Digital and Integration and New Energy businesses and the Vice President and Controller. Dianne B. Ralston signs the company’s current reports as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary.
The officer rows stored on this record do not come from a company register and should not be read as one. The provider holds 13 rows, of which 5 are retained here; every retained row is flagged ACTIVE with no appointment date and no resignation date, so the vintage of the set cannot be established from the data itself. The set contains no directors at all. It names Khaled Al Mogharbel as “Exec. Vp Of Geographies”, a role the Form 10-K of 23 January 2026 records as held by Steve Gassen since May 2025, and he is not among the executive officers listed there. It also includes a Director of Corporate Communication, a Chief Information Officer and a Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Industry Affairs, none of whom appears among the Section 16 officers or the other corporate officers in that filing. Of the five retained rows only Abdellah Merad is corroborated by the 10-K. The set is best understood as an undated scrape of a senior-management page: a mix of managers, administrative and communications staff, and at least one out-of-date attribution, rather than the officers of SLB N.V. as filed.
Recent officer changes
Steve Gassen became Executive Vice President of Geographies in May 2025, having been President, Production Systems from August 2022 to May 2025 (Form 10-K filed 23 January 2026).
Agnieszka Kmieciak became Chief People Officer in August 2025 (Form 10-K filed 23 January 2026).
Mamatha Chamarthi was elected to the Board with immediate effect on 10 October 2025, to serve until the next annual general meeting subject to re-election (Form 8-K filed 10 October 2025). She is not among the nine directors listed in the Form 10-K of 23 January 2026, nor among the nine nominees elected on 8 April 2026.
Data availability
Partial, and sourced from securities filings rather than a company register. The Curaçao trade register, which holds the statutory director filings for SLB N.V., is not freely searchable online, so appointment and resignation dates as filed with the register could not be obtained; the dates above are the service dates disclosed by the company in its own SEC filings. Nationality is not disclosed for any director or officer in any source reviewed and is recorded as “Not disclosed”; the 10-K discloses ages but neither nationality nor country of residence, and the country code “US” carried on the stored officer rows is a provider field tied to the company’s Houston address, not an officially disclosed residence or citizenship. No dates of birth or national identification numbers are published here.

Group Structure
Group structure of SLB N.V.
SLB N.V. is the top company of a large multinational group. Its Form 10-K for 2025 states that it is the NYSE-listed parent of the SLB family of companies, and no parent or controlling entity above it is disclosed in any filing reviewed, so SLB N.V. is both the immediate and the ultimate parent of the group. The provider supplied no corporate-linkage rows for this record at all; that emptiness carries no information and is not evidence that the company is a single entity or lacks an international presence. The structure set out below is taken from Exhibit 21 to the 2025 Form 10-K, filed on 23 January 2026, which lists the significant subsidiaries as of 31 December 2025 and uses indentation to show the principal parenting of each one. Exhibit 21 deliberately omits subsidiaries that would not in aggregate constitute a significant subsidiary, so the 21 entities below are a filed extract, not the full group. The group reports operations in more than 100 countries.
Two companies are held directly by SLB N.V.: Schlumberger B.V. (Netherlands) and Schlumberger Oilfield Holdings Limited (British Virgin Islands). Held under Schlumberger B.V. are Schlumberger Canada Limited (Canada), Schlumberger Holdings Corporation (Delaware), Schlumberger Norge AS (Norway), Schlumberger SA (France), Services Petroliers Schlumberger (France) and Schlumberger UK Limited (United Kingdom). Held under Schlumberger Holdings Corporation are Cameron International Corporation (Delaware), ChampionX Corporation (Delaware) and Schlumberger Technology Corporation (Texas). Held under Schlumberger UK Limited is SLB UK II Limited (United Kingdom), and under that, Schlumberger Oilfield UK Limited (United Kingdom). Held under Schlumberger Oilfield Holdings Limited is Schlumberger Holdings II Limited (British Virgin Islands), and under that: Dowell Schlumberger Corporation (British Virgin Islands), Schlumberger Logelco, Inc. (Panama), Schlumberger Middle East S.A. (Panama), Schlumberger Offshore Services Limited (British Virgin Islands), Schlumberger Oilfield Eastern Ltd. (British Virgin Islands), Schlumberger Overseas, S.A. (Panama) and Schlumberger Seaco, Inc. (Panama). The main jurisdictions represented in this filed extract are the Netherlands, the British Virgin Islands, Panama, the United States (Delaware and Texas), the United Kingdom, France, Norway and Canada. Ownership percentage not disclosed: Exhibit 21 gives no percentages of share capital or voting rights and no registration numbers for any of these entities. Note that Schlumberger Technology Corporation, incorporated in Texas, is a subsidiary and a separate legal person from SLB N.V.; it is not the same entity as the Curaçao parent described on this page.
Recent structural changes
Acquisition, completed 16 July 2025: SLB acquired all of the outstanding shares of ChampionX Corporation in an all-stock transaction, ChampionX shareholders receiving 0.735 SLB shares for each ChampionX share. Approximately 141 million SLB shares were issued and the total fair value of consideration transferred was USD 5,005 million, including USD 2,308 million of goodwill. The Form 8-K of 16 July 2025 records that ChampionX survived the merger as an indirect wholly owned subsidiary, and ChampionX Corporation appears in Exhibit 21 as a significant subsidiary at 31 December 2025.
Disposal, completed concurrently with that closing on 16 July 2025: SLB sold ChampionX’s Drilling Technologies business for net cash proceeds of USD 286 million.
Disposal, completed in the second quarter of 2025: SLB sold its interest in the Palliser Asset Performance Solutions project in Canada for net cash proceeds of USD 338 million, recording a gain of USD 149 million.
Data availability
Subsidiaries only, and partial. No corporate-linkage data was supplied by the source provider for this record. The relationships above are drawn from a filed SEC exhibit that covers only significant subsidiaries as defined by Regulation S-X and states no ownership percentages, registration numbers or effective dates; the Curaçao trade register, which would hold the parent’s own filings, is not freely searchable online, and the group publishes no complete legal-entity list. Nothing here should be read as a complete corporate tree for SLB N.V.
